Keratin Lash Lift & Tint

The lash lift is no stranger to the beauty world. It is a treatment that results in our lashes being semi-permanently curled for weeks by winding the hairs around a cylindrical rod. A lash lift is the perfect complement to an eyelash tint. In fact, for most clients, you will get the best results by tinting immediately after the lash lift.

The process involves using chemicals to change the structure and texture of the lashes. Depending on the size of the shield used, the lashes can be lifted more or less dramatically. 

The lash lift will provide you with lovely, long-lasting lash curls. Just one 60-minute professional treatment is all it takes to deliver a sumptuous lash lift that lasts, even after a shower or swimming, for up to 8-12 weeks.

This treatment lifts lashes from the root and creates the illusion of longer-looking lashes while also opening the eyes and enhancing the natural lashes. It is suitable for both short and long lashes, as well as all eye shapes.

That said, do yourself a favour and save time getting ready in the mornings. Consider trying the lash lift to achieve beautiful, curled lashes without the need for daily curling or mascara application.

Eyelash Lift & Tint MAY NOT be suitable for clients who:

1. Are pregnant. If you have an appointment and discover that you are pregnant, please contact me immediately so we can reschedule.

2. Have very few natural eyelashes or none at all. The gaps between your lashes may be more noticeable.

3. Have pre-existing eye (lid) conditions, such as chronic dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, and ocular rosacea. A doctor’s clearance will be required prior to the appointment.

4. Have undergone Lasik surgery (wait a minimum of 6 months from your procedure). A doctor’s clearance will be necessary prior to the appointment.

5. Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes).

6. Tend to be rough with their lashes.

7. Are undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (recommend consulting with your doctor first and obtaining a clearance).

8. Have sensitivity or allergies to dyes (it is recommended to book an appointment for a patch test).

9. Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (it is recommended to book an appointment for a patch test).

10. Have had blepharoplasty surgery (must wait a minimum of 1 year after your surgery) and will require a doctor’s clearance.

Properly trained and skilled professionals ensure that the correct lash lift procedures are followed.

The duration of the process typically takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour, although it may vary depending on the length and thickness of your eyelashes and whether you are getting them tinted. This also includes the time taken for the initial consultation.

A lash lift and tint typically have a duration of 6 to 12 weeks. However, the longevity of the results may vary among clients due to differences in their lash growth cycles. Certain situations can lead to premature drop or weakening of the lift, such as swimming, using harsh products, or exposing the lashes to excessive heat.

If you notice that your lash lift does not last the full 2-3 months, you have the option to repeat the treatment. However, it’s essential to wait a minimum of 6 weeks after the initial treatment before scheduling a new one. Rushing the process may not yield the desired results.
