Treatments utilise a Q-Switched Nd YAG laser and liquid carbon cream which is applied to the treatment area.
When the laser passes over the liquid carbon the energy is absorbed, shattering the carbon into tiny particles. The shattered carbon is then cleansed off the treatment area, and superficial epidermal cells, contaminants, impurities and oil are removed with it. This process delivers instant exfoliation, deep cleansing and rejuvenation.
The number of treatments you need will depend on your specific skin goals and concerns. Your clinician will discuss a treatment program based on your individual skin goals as part of your skin consultation. Generally, a series of 4-6 treatments is recommended for optimal results, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
The sensation of a Carbon Facial treatment is comfortable, and described as a warm tingling or light flicking on the skin.
Clients can immediately resume their daily activities post treatment. Some mild redness may be experienced, which usually subsides within a few hours
